Synth-peddling post punk outfit Victories at Sea have unveiled an appropriately brooding video to Bloom, the opening track to their excellent debut album Everything Forever.
It’s the perfect introduction to the Birmingham trio, who have a sold-out album launch show at a secret location to look forward to this Saturday.
Bloom offers a pulsating mixture of staccato synths, dark melodies and soaring vocals, perfectly moulding a sense of foreboding gloom into something really rather epic. It’s something that should delight fans of Editors, Joy Division and White Lies.
