Villagers today unveil the video for new track Everything I Am Is Yours – taken from latest album Darling Arithmetic, out this week.
The intensely brutal video, directed by Jamie Thraves (Radiohead, Sam Smith, Blur), sees band leader Conor O’Brien mirroring the reactions of a lone man seeking solace and then help after being savagely beaten on the street. The track itself is a typically tender offering from the Irish outfit, despite the at-times bloody scenes in the accompanying video.
Darling Arithmetic is the follow-up to Conor O’Brien’s debut, Becoming a Jackal, and its successor, Awayland and is out today on Domino. Read our review of the album here.
