Young Wolverhampton four-piece Jump the Shark show their dark side with latest single Robot Song.
A fuzzed up slow burner of a song, with a nod to the dirtier side of 90s indie, it crescendos into a killer chorus that burrows it’s way into your brain.
Coming a year after the band scooped a Young BRIT award for their hook-laden baggy funk track There’s Always One, this latest single is indicative of a band determined to build on their ‘potential’ tag, with some added punch to their sound. Not bad considering they’ve had to balance songwriting with their A-levels.
Robot Song is available as a free download from Bandcamp. Watch the video above.
Jump the Shark are live supporting Hatcham Social at The Sunflower Lounge on November 26.
