Manchester-Midlands hybrids The Charlatans have announced plans for a major UK tour, ending in Birmingham in October.
The baggy 90s indie heroes, made up of members from Walsall and Manchester, are currently putting the finishing touches to their new album Who We Touch , produced by Youth, due for release on September 6 on Frinck Recordings through Cooking Vinyl. The album will be preceded by the release of the single Love Is Ending on July 19th.
They will begin an extensive UK tour to showcase the new material starting in Newcastle on October 7 and ending at Birmingham’s O2 Academy on October 23.
Shaun Ryder is special guest on the tour and will be opening all shows.
