Montreal avant-garde rock three-piece BIG|BRAVE conclude their 11-date European tour at the Rainbow, Digbeth, on December 2 in support of their latest Southern Lord full length, Au De La.

Their heavy, unsettling and unconventional brand of doom, post rock and experimental noise has seen them support heavyweights SunnO))), play Le Guess Who? festival in the Netherlands this winter and All Tomorrows Parties Festival in London. Their Birmingham date sees the band play host to West Midlands doom acts Kroh and Soden.

Their latest video, Look At How The World Has Made A Change, influenced by installations and video screenings one might expect to see in art galleries and museums, is reminiscent of Au De La’s tendency to evolve from minimalist composition to mammoth crescendos.

Au De La was recorded at Hotel2Tango with Efrim Menuck (Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Thee Silver Mt Zion Memorial Orchestra) and mastered by Harris Newman at Grey Market (Front Line Assembly, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, C H R I ST), several of its tracks also include violin by Jessica Moss (Thee Silver Mt Zion Memorial Orchestra).

BIG|BRAVE play Rainbow Cellar, Digbeth, Dec 2
