OxjamBrum Announces Full Lineup For 2014 Festival

The full lineup for this year’s OxjamBrum music festival has this evening been announced via the charity’s social media.

Curated and run by volunteers across some of Birmingham’s finest music establishments, and featuring the most exciting upcoming and established local talent, OxjamBrum will take place on Saturday October 18 from midday until 2am and will comprise of both live music and afterparties featuring local DJs. All proceeds go to Oxfam and this is part of a national event which takes place in towns and cities across the UK.

This year the venues involved include The Flapper, The Oobleck, TALK, 6/8 Kafe, Island Bar, the Frederick Canal Barge as well as a very exciting Brum Notes 5th Birthday Stage at The Sunflower Lounge.

Music highlights this year include Modern Minds, Alex Moir, Haze, Steady Hands, The Mighty Young, Curb, Ghosts Of Dead Airplanes, The Mourning Suns, Rick Wellings and Lauren Pryke amongst others. Two afterparties have also been announced, taking place at The Flapper (with DJs Kerrang’s Johnny Doom and Birmingham’s Victories At Sea) and at Island Bar (with Dantics).

Bare Bones will also be selling pizza outside The Flapper throughout the event.

OxjamBrum takes place across the city on October 18. Day wristbands for the event are priced at £10 advance (£12 on the door). Earlybird tickets for the event are onsale now priced at £8 here.
