February issue of Brum Notes now online

The brand new issue of Brum Notes Magazine has already hit the streets of Birmingham and beyond and is now available to read online too.

February sees a jam-packed calendar of live music and club nights as 2011 gets unto overdrive and we’ve got the pick of the bunch in our new music special.

Inside we talk to cover star Jamie Woon, super-hyped guitar saviours The Vaccines, art-gloom rockers Chapel Club, quirky popsters Dutch Uncles, ethereal wonders Esben & The Witch and American rock n rollers The Whigs and Dead Confederate, as well as post-rock royalty Mogwai.

We also get the inside track on some of Birmingham’s finest alternative club promoters ahead of an exciting few months ahead for the underground scene.

Plus, get the lowdown on local boys Dakota Beats, Birmingham folk cult hero Ben Calvert and comic Mark Steel ahead of his twin Midlands appearances.

You can also win the chance to meet and greet My Chemical Romance backstage at their forthcoming Birmingham show, as well as get your hands on tickets to the Shockwaves NME Awards Tour and the Kerrang! Relentless Energy Drink Tour.

You’ll also find the usual mix of reviews and previews, some fantastic late night clubbing photos and our comprehensive What’s On guide for the month ahead.

Read it online at staging.brumnotes.com/magazine.
